What is Visible Learning?

Definition: Visible Teaching and Learning occurs when teachers see learning through the eyes of students and help them become their own teachers’ (Hattie, 2014).

Establishing the core principles of the ‘Dispositions of a Good Learner’

Visible Learning is when the educators become evaluators of their own teaching so that students learn how to become their own teachers and grow into lifelong learners.

The school has made significant progress in embedding the Visible Learning approach across the school. Together as a school we developed our five dispositions of learning to support our children in understanding 'What a good learner' is.
